A popular concert where you can casually enjoy a first class music for 50 minutes at noon.
For the 57th concert, we will present a trombone quartet featuring members of the trombone section of the NHK Symphony Orchestra, one of Japan’s leading orchestras. The trombone is impressive in the way it is played while moving its slide. Its tone is said to be close to the human voice, and an ensemble of four trombones can enjoy the warm sounds of a chorus or the majestic sounds of the divine. With commentary by the players on the instrument and the music, this program will surely make you fall in love with the trombone. The members always play in the same orchestra, so you can look forward to a perfect match performance.
