*During the renovation period of Saitama Arts Theater(Oct. 2022~Feb. 2024), Shikisai-tei will be held at Saitama Hall (Small Hall).

Miyaji Katsura

 

In 2008, quit his job as an office worker and at the age of 31, became an apprentice to Shinji Katsura.

In 2012, promoted to Futatsume

In Feb. 2021, promoted to Shinuchi

★Selected and promoted over 5 people! Been 29 years for the Rakugo Arts Association since Shota Shunputei.

 

◆2012: NHK New Comer’s Performance Awards, Rakugo Division Grand Prize

◆2014: Silver Prize, National Engeijo, Hanagata Engei Grand Prix

◆2015: The 26th HokuTopia Young Rakugo Actor Competition, HokuTopia Encouragement Award

◆2020, 2021: Awarded the Sainokuni Rakugo Grand Prize(Award-winning Story “Yondanme”)
