Ensemble FOVE is an up-and-coming, next generation ensemble of leading classical musicians, formed at the call of the rising composer and musician Yuta Bandoh. Each member of the group is active as a unique player, and their presence is also greatly recognized in the music for dramas and movies that Bandoh writes, attracting attention for their free and creative activities that are not bound by any existing framework. This first concert in the hall will be an exciting attempt by FOVE to recreate the world of the CD 『ZINGARO!!!』which was released in 2019. They will perform a number of modern arrangements of Tsingaro music (gypsy music), energetically depicting them in vivid colors never seen before. Please look forward to it!
Ensemble FOVE leader, Yuta Bandoh’s comments
We are all very excited to have Ensemble FOVE perform at the Saitama Arts Theater as it has been a long time. Until now, ZINGARO!!! performances have only been two performances with a limited number of seats, but this will be an exciting performance that can only be held in a hall, different from both the CD and the previous performances. Please come and experience the thrilling chemistry and groove of the music produced by the awesome FOVE members live!

Artist Profile | Ensemble FOVE An up-and-coming, next-generation ensemble formed by leading classical performers. Established in 2016, after several one-off projects since 2014, by the call of composer Yuta Bandoh. The aim is to experiment and perform new art that expands the boundaries of genres, and to propose new auditory experiences. In 2018, held the first original project「SONAR-FIELD」(SHIBAURA HOUSE). By renting out an entire building, created a new musical experience that is different from both a concert and an installation, and became a hot topic. (performed again in 2019) In the same year, co-organized the second project「TRANS」with Kyoto Art Center. The audience was surrounded by a 360-degree surround of three-dimensional acoustics, and the members of FOVE performed live, creating a space that shocked the audience. In addition to the original projects, has participated in Kenshi Yonezu’s『Ghosts of the Sea』and『Horse and Deer』(2019) , a cover of Hikaru Utada in the『Yosui Inoue Tribute』『Shonen Jidai』(2019), and Hikaru Utada’s『Beautiful World (Da Capo Version)』(2021). Also actively involved in background music such as the TV animation series『Yuri! On ICE』(2016?), the movie『Coming』(2018, directed by Tetsuya Nakashima), the NTV drama『Gourmet Detective Goro Akechi』(2020), and the TV drama『Oomameda, Wako and the Three Ex-Husbands』(2021), expanding the boundaries of the genre. In the fall of 2019, Ensemble FOVE released their first CD album,『ZINGARO!!!』under their own label, FOVE RECORDS, with member Ami Oike (violin) as a soloist.
