This is a popular series since 2018, 「Comparison of Bach’s “The Well-Tempered” on organ and harpsichord」. Naoya Otsuka, who is active on the front line as a performer and also well known for his lectures and workshops on ancient music and instruments, will perform and explain each piece from Bach’s masterpiece, “The Well-Tempered Clavier”, on both the Positive organ and Harpsichord. Vol. 6 will feature Vol.2, No.13 to No.18.
This series has been inviting guests active in various fields for each performance, putting a spot light on Bach’s music from various angles and getting to the essence of it. This time, we will be welcoming Keita Onishi, a Videographer who has garnered attention for his visualization of music for NHK’s “Masterpiece Album + (Plus)” and other programs. In his lecture, he will introduce the production process of his works and show his new work, a visualization of Bach’s fugue. A time to “Listen” and “Watch” Bach’s music. Please come and enjoy!
