The tense story of one night
The third in the Theater on the Frontline series, this play was inspired by real events that struck a young couple living under the rule of the Islamic State in September 2015. Author Ghannam Ghannam, who works closely with his native Palestine, was deeply moved by news of this event which violated religious and social taboos.
A shout that isn’t vocalized by those living in fear under an extremist armed group that has shocked the world. The pain of those countless lost lives is converted into language in this work that is written with the hope that better days will come.
