PRIVACY POLICY

Saitama Arts Foundation (SAF) understands how important protecting personal information is. The Foundation endeavors to implement measures to protect personal information, in compliance with the following policies.

SAF collects personal information from you when you book tickets, register with us or subscribe to one of our services online. Personal information includes your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, country of residence and credit card details. We need such information to process your booking and to contact you.

1. COLLECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION

SAF will collect the personal information only by appropriate and fair means, with explicit announcement of the purpose for the use of such information.

2. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

When using personal information, the purpose of the use of such information must be as clearly defined and restricted as possible. Furthermore, personal information will not be held beyond the scope required for achievement of the purpose of information use.

3. PROVISION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO A THIRD PARTY

Excluding exceptions stated in the laws of Japan, personal information shall not be disclosed to third parties without your consent.

4. HANDLING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your personal information will be handled with the utmost care in order to prevent the information collected from being stolen, lost or misused. We appropriately supervise our employees and consignees alike to ensure the security of your privacy, and keep the information as accurate and up-to-date as possible.

5. DISCLOSURE, CORRECTION AND SUSPENSION OF USE OR DELEITION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

SAF will ensure that a customer has the right to request for any disclosure, correction and suspension of use or deletion of their own personal information, and if these requests are made, we will respond immediately.

6. ORGANIZATION

SAF installs a person in charge in each department of the organization who supervises the appropriate handling of personal information. SAF also provides its personnel with educational opportunities to enhance understanding of its privacy policy as well as compliance with applicable laws.

7. IMPROVEMENT OF PRIVACY PROTECTION

As an organization who complies with the Personal Information Protection Law of Japan, SAF takes appropriate measures and revises its policy in a timely manner to continuously improve privacy protection of its customers.
